Urbannews  | PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) menggelar turnamen futsal terbesar di Indonesia untuk pelajar SMA se-Indonesia “AXIS Nation Cup 2023”. Menyediakan total hadiah Rp 270 juta, turnamen akan diikuti 1.200 sekolah dari 30 kota di seluruh Indonesia. Melalui turnamen ini, XL Axiata berharap bisa turut berkontribusi memacu prestasi olahraga di kalangan pelajar, sekaligus memperkuat brand positioning AXIS di segmen anak muda. Turnamen akan berlangsung mulai tanggal 11 Agustus 2023 dan akan berakhir pada 15 Oktober 2023.

Chief Marketing Officer XL Axiata, Alfons Bosch Sansa mengatakan, “Pelajar di Indonesia memiliki potensi yang sangat luar biasa, salah satunya dalam bidang olah raga. Futsal merupakan salah satu cabang olah raga yang populer di kalangan pelajar terutama pelajar SMA. Kami melihat potensi yang luar biasa jika AXIS bisa menyediakan sarana yang bisa memacu prestasi mereka. Untuk itulah turnamen ini kami gelar, semoga dari sini nanti akan lahir bibit-bibit atlet futsal di Indonesia”.

Lebih lanjut lagi Alfons menambahkan, AXIS merupakan brand XL Axiata yang identik dengan anak muda. Melalui AXIS, XL Axiata berusaha untuk mengejar pasar pelajar dan juga mahasiswa, yang merupakan salah satu segmen potensial yang sifatnya jangka panjang. Hingga saat ini pengguna AXIS terus bertumbuh 14 % pada semester 1 2023 dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya.

Selain pertandingan futsal, di AXIS Nation Cup 2023 terdapat juga kompetisi dance dan juga suporter terbaik. Tim peserta bisa mendaftarkan dirinya melalui website https://anc.axis.co.id/

Turnamen ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi generasi muda Indonesia dan berkontribusi dalam pengembangan potensi sepak bola futsal di tanah air.”

Pada event ini, AXIS berkolaborasi dengan Cicio Manassero dan Shafira Ika Putri mulai dari proses talent hunting, coaching clinic dan fun match. Keikutsertaan kedua publik figur ini diharapkan memberikan semangat kepada peserta untuk menunjukan bakat terbaik mereka.

“AXIS Nation Cup 2023 bisa memberikan kesempatan bagi atlet muda untuk memperlihatkan bakat mereka. Sebagai seseorang yang passionate di bidang futsal, saya senang bisa bersama-sama dengan AXIS mendorong perkembangan para atlet muda kita.” ujar Shafira Ika Putri dalam acara konferensi pers AXIS Nation Cup 2023.

Para pemenang turnamen akan menerima total hadiah sebesar Rp 270 juta, yang meliputi hadiah uang tunai dan kesempatan mengikuti program camp sepak bola yang berada di Bali United Training Camp Foundation di Denpasar.

AXIS Nation Cup 2023 dibagi menjadi tiga fase. Fase pertama adalah pendahuluan (Preliminary), di mana semua sekolah akan bertanding untuk babak penyisihan awal. Fase selanjutnya yaitu regional qualification yang akan berlangsung di Palembang, Solo, Banjarmasin, Denpasar dan Makassar, pada fase ini sekolah yang mewakili masing-masing region akan bertanding untuk memperebutkan babak perempat final. Dan fase terakhir yaitu perempat final, di mana sekolah akan bertanding untuk memperebutkan pemenang.

Fase terakhir dari AXIS Nation Cup akan berlangsung pada 15 Oktober 2023 di Istora Senayan, Jakarta. Selain pertandingan futsal, AXIS juga melibatkan para publik figur dan  musisi untuk turut memeriahkan pertandingan. Turnamen ini terbuka untuk disaksikan oleh masyarakat umum. Bahkan, penonton yang akan hadir baik dari preliminary hingga final, berkesempatan mendapatkan kejutan dari AXIS berupa paket kuota hingga 2GB/hari selama 365 hari.
